According to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, about half of all adults in 2012 had one or more chronic health condition. Further statistics show that one in four adults had two or more chronic health conditions. These alarming numbers reflect the need for conversation and support surrounding chronic illness. This podcast explores common stressors associated with chronic illness, address harmful myths and stigmas associated with individuals and families struggling with chronic illness, and discuss helpful ways to support those affected.
