Jacqueline Pflieger, Ph.D.
Jacqueline Pflieger, Ph.D. is a Senior Research Psychologist at the Naval Health Research Center (NHRC) in San Diego, CA. Since 2015, she has led the Millennium Cohort Family Study’s program of research on military couple relationship adjustment. Prior to working at NHRC, Dr. Pflieger was the lead analyst for the Department of Defense military spouse surveys as well as the health-related behaviors surveys of military personnel. She received her Ph.D. in Family and Human Development from Arizona State University and completed a two-year postdoctoral training fellowship in Substance Abuse Prevention Research at Yale University School of Medicine. Over the past 15 years, she has published on the topics of children’s mental health, adolescent risk behaviors, interpersonal violence, substance abuse, and military couple relationships.
