- Goal: The overall health of MFLN as a collaborative production network is improved.
- Objective: Network Literacy works with the MFLN Leadership Team to measure and monitor the health of the network
- We will conduct the annual social network survey and analysis.
- We will create a network health evaluation to complement the social network survey and analysis
- We will develop and communicate recommendations to improve the health of the network based on the social network analysis and network health evaluation.
- Objective: Network Literacy works with the MFLN Leadership Team to measure and monitor the health of the network
- Goal: MFLN members, military families service providers, military families and cooperative extension educators are more resilient and adaptive in complex social systems.
- Objective: Research, understand and share knowledge about complex systems and the role social networks play in building resilience within those systems.
- We will publish blog posts about networks, resilience and complex systems.
- We will write and submit a journal article to a peer-reviewed journal.
- We will present at national or regional conferences.
- We will create and share a network resource guide.
- We will connect and collaborate with others interested in complex systems and the role social networks play in building resilience within those systems.
- Objective: Create learning experiences and spaces for the practice of network building.
- We will continue to support the “Building Networks for Resilience” community.
- We will lead the design and implementation of the engagement program for the 2019 MFLN Virtual Conference.
- We will publish blog posts on the practice of network building.

- Goal: MFLN programming becomes more collaborative, learner-centered, and issue-driven
- Objective: Facilitate network-wide discussions on creating conditions for engagement and program innovation.

- Objective: Collaborate with MFLN concentration areas to support engagement strategies and program innovation.
- We will collaborate with Family Development and Family Transitions to deliver a serial learning experience around adverse childhood experiences.
