Biography – Dr Caroline Tuck

Caroline is an Accredited Practising Dietitian from Melbourne, Australia, with experience in clinical practice and research. In 2017 Caroline moved to Kingston, Canada as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in the Gastrointestinal Diseases Research Unit at Queen’s University. Her research focuses on the mechanisms of action of diet on gastrointestinal conditions.

In 2016 Caroline completed her Ph.D. with the Translational Nutrition Science Research team, Department of Gastroenterology Monash University, Australia. Her Ph.D. thesis investigated adjunct therapy to the low FODMAP diet for the treatment of irritable bowel syndrome.

Caroline has published a number of scientific journal articles and received numerous awards including the award of excellence in nutrition and dietary fibre research at the Nutrition Society of Australia conference in 2016. In addition, Caroline has been working as a Dietitian since 2009 in acute clinical and private practice specializing in gastrointestinal disease and food intolerance.
