Joan Gillece, Ph.D., Director of the SAMHSA National Center for Trauma Informed Care, & Charryse Nichelle, a SAMHSA national consultant & survivor of childhood trauma, will be presenting on various types of trauma and its impact on individuals and families. The presenters will provide an introduction to trauma-informed care and highlight benefits in utilizing this treatment approach for prevention and intervention work with both military and civilian families. This will be the first of our 2 part webinar focusing on trauma-informed care.
